Academic Ethics & Code of Conduct
PrecisionOnco 2027 is dedicated to fostering a professional, rigorous, and inclusive scientific environment. All attendees, faculty speakers, peer reviewers, and commercial exhibitors are expected to uphold the highest standards of scientific integrity and collegiate decorum.
1. Scientific Integrity & Research Defense
- Authenticity of Clinical Data: All submitted abstracts and presentations must represent authentic, verifiable scientific and clinical data. Fabrication, falsification, or unauthorized duplication of published data without citation is strictly prohibited.
- Conflict of Interest (COI) Disclosures: In compliance with continuing medical education standards, all presenters must include a mandatory disclosure slide at the commencement of their lecture, itemizing corporate advisory boards, grant funding, stock holdings, or commercial royalties.
- Patient Privacy (HIPAA / GDPR Compliance): Clinical investigators must ensure all clinical case presentations, diagnostic histopathology slides, and genomic readouts are fully de-identified in strict adherence to patient privacy laws.
2. Professional Interpersonal Conduct
We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free colloquium experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, or scientific viewpoint.
- Harassment, intimidation, or discriminatory behavior in any form (verbal, written, or physical) will not be tolerated across plenary sessions, poster corridors, virtual chats, or evening receptions.
- Vigorous intellectual debate and critique of scientific methodology are encouraged, provided discourse remains professional, evidence-based, and respectful.
3. Photography, Audio Recording & Embargo Protocols
- Presenters retain full intellectual property rights to their preliminary findings. Photography or recording of slides clearly marked with an official "DO NOT POST / UNPUBLISHED DATA" icon is strictly prohibited.
- Press attendees must respect official colloquium abstract embargo deadlines prior to publication in the official proceedings volume.
4. Incident Reporting & Governance
If you experience or witness a violation of this code, notify the Secretariat Desk on-site or submit an urgent confidential incident report via email to: [email protected].
